Full Job Description

We are looking for a committed and dynamic experienced nurse including those from a deputy management background, to provide leadership and clinical direction on Sirhowy Ward in Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan Hospital.
The successful candidate will have a passion for person centred care and will work alongside the integrated service team and frailty service., The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sound clinical leadership and will have a value base that is person centred and in line with current evidenced based practice.

They will be able to work alongside and support an inpatient multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, person centred care aimed at maintaining independence and personhood. They will have excellent communication skills and have a passion for innovation and problem solving.
Sirhowy ward are looking for someone who takes pride in their role, has a passion for improving systems and ways of working in a collaborative approach.
The ward is a 32 bedded unit. The patients range in age and vary in need from rehabilitation to complex discharge planning.
The ward has a friendly team who have a passion for providing excellent care for their service users.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
