Full Job Description
- Provide effective leadership and management/Role model
- Develop team performance
- Manage the ward/department environment
- Deliver a safe and effective service within allocated resources ensuring the resources are used to maximum effect
- To ensure safe and effective practice/Professional, ethical and legal
- Act as a change agent, developing clinically effective practice through the effective utilisation and integration of evidence
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff, patients/clients and visitors by ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and protocols including health and safety, healthcare associated infection, risk management and critical incident reporting
You will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of clinical leadership. You should be a confident, competent, and person-centered leader with a high level of knowledge and skills of inpatient care and of the standards and procedures that direct and influence this system.
Forest Lodge is a 22 bed Forensic low secure mental health inpatient ward for people aged 18 to 65 which is based in Oughtibridge , Sheffield. Forest Lodge is a friendly wonderful place to work, the team are really engaged in some exciting changes which you could be part of and instrumental in leading.
