An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Adult cardiac ward (E3 Blue) within the Cardiovascular and Thoracic care group. As one of the largest Clinical Care Groups within University Hospital Southampton (UHS) there are numerous opportunities for development within the Cardiothoracic speciality. ABOUT THE TEAME3 Blue - Is an adult cardiac ward with a specialist focus on heart failure and therefore has strong links with the heart failure team. We also care for patient's post cardiac surgery and cardiac interventions.Our ward ethos is: 'We pledge to care for you, the patient, as we would want our relatives to be cared for. We will treat you as an individual and aim to reach the best possible outcome for you. We will achieve this by working together, involving you and your loved ones in decisions that are made and by using the expertise of other members of the multidisciplinary team as required.
