  • We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused Ward Manager with excellent communication skills to lead a male Acute Ward based at Highbury Hospital. As the Ward Manager you will be overseeing care approaches and systems of delivery. You will be pivotal in providing strong leadership throughout the wider team ensuring that high standards are maintained and improved upon. You must be a Registered Healthcare professional who has extensive experience of working with people with complex mental health preferably within inpatient settings.

    Rowan 1 is a 16 bedded male Acute Ward based at Highbury Hospital in Nottingham. The MDT work closely together to provide high quality . The ward has a keen focus on therapeutic activity and engagement and as Ward Manager you would be key in ensuring positive experiences for patients and staff alike. You will become part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, with focus on assessment of need, treatment, and recovery, while placing the patient at the centre of care planning. We provide inpatient care for men aged between 18-65 years old. Highbury Hospital provides high quality care 24 hours a day 7 days a week to people from Nottingham City and County who are experiencing a range of mental health and emotional difficulties. This role is within adult mental health services, additionally on site there are services from MHSOP and SSD Mental Health services., Nottinghamshire Healthcare employs over 10,000 colleagues who help #MakeADifference every day.
