The hospital has an outstanding reputation for providing high-quality care across residential, day care, and outpatient services. We are looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Ward Manager to lead by example. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with a flexible, team-oriented approach to ward management. You should also have a proven track record in nurse leadership and at least 3 years' experience in a senior nursing role. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management : Lead the nursing team, efficiently manage shifts, and ensure optimal patient care.
• Patient-Centered Care : Build therapeutic relationships with patients to ensure individual needs are met.
• Compliance & Ethical Practice : Adhere to codes of conduct, standards, and legislation. Promote ethical practice at all times.
• Care Planning & Assessment : Contribute to patient assessments, collaborate on care plans, and monitor progress.
• Education & Mentorship : Mentor student nurses and staff, fostering their professional development.
• Professional Development : Promote continuous professional growth within the team and ensure access to the latest knowledge and skills.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
• RMN or RNLD Qualification : A valid RMN or RNLD qualification is required.
• Post-Registration Experience : Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience in a senior nursing role.
• Supervisory Experience : Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity within a healthcare setting.
• Mentoring Certificate : A recognised mentoring certificate is preferred.
• Teaching & Assessment Skills : Ability to teach and assess junior staff effectively.
• Organisational Skills : Strong coordination and task prioritisation abilities, with a focus on Health & Safety.
• Drive for Learning : A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest practices.
• Team-Oriented Attitude : A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
