Full Job Description

Part time Ward Manager's Assistant to assist Ward Managers of the Acute Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Care with administration tasks Maintain paper and computerised records in accordance with Trust standards. Maintain staff files and complete and file staff leaver files. Complete general administration tasks such as photocopying, maintaining visual display boards, filing of information, taking minutes of team meetings, distributing information to the team, book staff appointments for appraisals, monitor and book team training, maintain staff sickness records, input audit information, assist with ordering supplies for the unit.   • To provide a support service to the ward team and Ward Manager. To perform all allocated clerical tasks required to meet the service Respond to enquiries from others wards/ teams, ensuring good communication and appropriate response. Use the on-line systems to assist with ordering supplies for the ward (training will be given) Maintain confidentiality at all times. Compile and maintain staff records Book and ensure staff complete mandatory training Complete general administration tasks as directed to ensure smooth running of the unit Manage the Ward Managers' diary Maintain a staff training database. Monitor and record staff absence
