Full Job Description

+ To deal with external/internal enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
+ To be aware of patient confidentiality at all times
+ To carry out the filing of medical notes
+ To carry out the photocopying of case notes when required
+ To carry out the scanning of case notes when required
+ To deal with the any phone enquiries when required
+ To ensure attendance at mandatory training sessions, involvement in appraisals and personal development plans and adherence to Trust policies
+ To work under standard operating procedures (SOP'S)
+ To carry out admin work in a ward environment; including, filing, open post, updating spreadsheets with patients information, booking transport and follow up appointments.
+ Being the first friendly face visitors see when arriving on the ward.
+ Communicating with the multi-disciplinary team.
+ Previous experience of working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is a must, CareFlow experience will be an advantage although training will be provided.
+ Being an extremely busy department, the ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise changing workloads is absolutely essential for this role.
