Full Job Description

The role of the ward sister/charge nurse is varied and a great development opportunity within a stand alone unit. You will support the Ward Manager with staff management, incident management, patient flow and roster management. You will provide clinical expertise and visible leadership whilst helping to create a positive patient experience., Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with MDT
colleagues to help ensure patients meet their rehabilitation potential.
Empower patients to work as partners in their care, respecting individual
choice and difference and encouraging self-care where able.
Identify significant change in patients' physical, psychological and social
status acting on findings, seeking guidance and/or reporting to the appropriate member of the multi-disciplinary team as well as the ward manager.

We are looking for an inspiring individual to join our team at The Kleinwort Centre Intermediate Care Service as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse Band 6 for 18.75 hours per week.
The Kleinwort Centre is a 23 bedded stand alone intermediate care unit. The unit is very friendly and welcoming with a great multidisciplinary team who work together with patients and their relatives/carers to support rehabilitations and safe discharges to the most appropriate location for them.
Please note that the unit runs a 24 hour service so internal rotation is required., + Supportive flexible working patterns such as: part time, flexi time, annualised hours, and flexi retirement options
