Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Registered Nurses to join our friendly and dynamic team at the Manchester Vascular Center.We are looking for two Band 6 Junior Ward Sisters/Charge Nurses who have the ability to focus on the delivery of high caliber care; efficient use of facilities, manpower and other resources to ensure and improve standards within the clinical environment.We are a 46 bedded regional unit specialising in vascular surgery. You will need to display excellent communication skills and experience in caring for vascular patients is desirable. Experience of leading a team and working autonomously is essential.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of leadership, motivation, excellent communication skills, and good time management. An interest in wound care skills is also desirable.The successful candidates must be flexible to meet needs of the post as flexibility in working pattern is vital.
