As our new Sister/Charge Nurse, you will take on a leadership role, providing expertise, advice, and support to the team while maintaining continuous responsibility for the management of the ward. You will ensure the effective use of resources and uphold the highest standards of care for patients and their families on a 24-hour basis., Leading, developing, and coaching junior team members to ensure consistently high standards of care.
Prioritising workloads and directing staff effectively to meet patient needs.
Regularly deputising for the Ward Manager or other departmental Sisters as required.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Orthopaedics/Spinal/Neuro-Surgery nursing team on our 22-bedded ward at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC., Strong experience in a surgical setting with experience in Orthopaedics/ spinal surgery/neuro surgery.
Management skills and Leadership or management training
Mentorship / Preceptorship of junior staff
