Full Job Description

You will have the opportunity in to be at the forefront of future projects, service development and improvement., To have responsibility for management of clinical service delivery across the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Clinic Service in conjunction with both the operational and medical teams.

To promote high standards of professional practice and the delivery of quality care within the corporate policies, protocols and guidelines.

To be accountable for the delivery and monitoring of robust infection control measures at department level through relentless vigilance by ensuring delivery of all aspects of the Infection Control Policy.

To provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff.

To be a highly skilled clinical expert with specialised knowledge in caring for patients

We are looking to appoint a clinical lead for the trauma and orthopaedic clinics at the Ipswich Hospital. You will preferably have existing knowledge and skills in trauma and orthopaedics and already have proven leadership experience at a Band 6 or above. Outpatient experience is also desirable.
