Full Job Description

Working as part of a caring and passionate nursing team you will responsibly deliver planned, direct patient care to a high standard in accordance with the Trust's established nursing procedures. Leading by example you will promote the safeguarding, wellbeing and interests of all patients and their families whilst taking personal responsibility for ensuring the needs of patients are achieved., We are a team committed to delivering and maintaining high quality patient care and are looking to attract nurses who share our goal. In return we will support on-going professional development by way of full preceptorship and provide opportunities for the individual to develop their clinical skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated children's nurse to join our team within The James Cook University Hospital. The Paediatric areas at The James Cook University Hospital include a Paediatric medical ward, trauma/surgical ward, Paediatric Decisions Unit, Paediatric Critical Care Unit and a Paediatric Outpatient Department., Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills, be enthusiastic, well-motivated and share a commitment to team working.

Registration with the NMC as a RSCN/Child Branch nurse is essential.

After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
