Full Job Description
To perform activities related to the processing of Customers orders from ordering to dispatching
Conform to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures for operating practices.
Conform to all company policies regarding Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, and G.W.P
Attend regular communication/awareness sessions, either given by your line manager or via other
presentations.
Contract Administrators are required to perform Daily checks on WMS ,to accurately input into
WMS/TMS
In order to complete these tasks training will be provided in any (or all) of the areas listed below.
If any specific manual handling equipment is required for the task training will be provided.
Checking and updating sterling.
The allocation of order and passing orders to the warehouse.
Updating the diary when Customers have requested a delivery or collection.
Printing Palletforce or DPD labels.
Dispatching orders
Maintaining customer paperwork in the correct manner or filing.
Print labels where the order requires them
Employees have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be
affected by their actions at work. Employees must co-operate with employers and co-workers to help
everyone meet their legal requirements. Maintain and improve health and safety standards according to
§ Previous administrative, contract experience, ideally in the 3PL environment.
§ Good working knowledge of WMS systems.
§ Good communication skills, written and verbal.
§ Good numeracy and accuracy skills
§ Good organisational and time management skills.
§ Analytical and good problem solving skills
§ Ability to work under pressure as an effective member of the team
§ Uses initiative and highly motivated
§ Keen eye for detail.
§ Good IT skills
§ Accuracy and attention to detail is essential in this role
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
§ 3PL background
§ Basic first aid
§ Basic Manual handling
§ Good knowledge of logistics industry
Qualifications:
§ General level of education GCSE or equivalent
