Job Overview

Construction Fixing Systems Ltd is a go-to provider for complete structural solutions within the construction industry. CFS is in an exciting growth and innovation phase and are looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant to support this. As a member of the warehouse team, you would be responsible for assisting with dispatches of all inventories, fabrication items, receiving goods and storage management to ensure that we meet customer expectations. The personable candidate will work well as part of the team to ensure we meet our project and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to work alongside the Warehouse Managers and Coordinators to ensure the dispatch of inventory is prepared accurately and delivered on time.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Putting stock away, strong attention to detail to ensure stock is located to correct area. Ensuring that the count of equipment is accurate.
  • Picking and packing of orders, all items must be packaged securely to ensure safe transportation to the customer and ensuring manual handling techniques are utilised.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep high quality standards for audits
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers

Desired / Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Forklift License
  • Manual Handling Training
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Good understanding of warehouse procedures, quality standard, H&S regulations and inventory controls.
  • Good levels of Math’s & English
  • Able to lift and carry stock
