Full Job Description

What you will be doing: You will be responsible for all aspects of inventory control within the warehouse area. This includes goods outwards activities, export control to international locations, the processing of goods inwards receipts, physically and through the ERP system. General stores & inventory control activities, servicing both internal and external customers. Servicing of lines side bin locations & production teams.,

  • Issuing stock internally, to meet internal customer requirements.

  • Ensure all stock is kept securely within the permitted areas, including frozen storage locations.

  • Goods inwards & stock put away including the use of the ERP system.

  • Communicating & distributing the arrival of critical parts as required throughout the business, as well as drivers, and customers to relay information about goods outwards, delivery schedules, and any potential issues that may arise.

  • Allocating of inventory to works orders, order picking and issuing to production areas in a timely manner.

  • Maintaining effective stock records using the ERP system, system transactions and preparing documentation. This could include but is not limited to Commercial Invoices, applying for export licences and any other relevant documents to ensure compliance with regulations and to facilitate smooth operations.

  • Ensuring stock levels are correct and advising of any discrepancies.

  • Assisting with stock counts when required.

  • Ensuring that the stores area housekeeping and organisation is kept to an agreed standard.

  • Working with production following scheduled delivery targets via eSharp. Also identifying products that can be delivered early whenever possible.

  • Ensuring products are properly and securely packaged and labelled for transport, which includes tasks such as selecting appropriate materials and maintaining quality control to protect goods during transit.

  • Co-ordinating the movement of goods from the point of origin to the final destination. This involves overseeing transportation logistics, route planning, and ensuring timely deliveries.

    We are thrilled to have an opening for a Warehouse Co-ordinator position, created due to internal progression. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic team who are passionate, friendly, and fun!, What we are looking for: You will have experience working in a stores / warehouse manufacturing environment, co-ordinating the inbound and outbound of goods, you will have thorough attention to detail to produce precise documentation and accurate record-keeping, ability to communicate with all stakeholders concisely and clearly and is able to build positive working relationships internally and externally. Ideally you will have truck licence although these aren't essential, training can be provided., Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on production needs.
