Warehouse Goods in / Goods out and Production Operative

Birchall Tea is an award winning Tea company operating out of a new state of the art purpose built factory run 100% on Solar Power. Birchall Tea is a family business based in Amesbury, Wiltshire and we are looking for a Food Production Operative to join the food production team on a full-time or part time permanent basis. Working within our friendly team, you will be responsible for the undertaking of all aspects of the production cycle, from blending Teas through to operating state of the art high speed tea bag packing machines, packing and labelling our products to a high standard.

The role is varied and involves:

- Blending and packing Tea / Picking and packing orders

- Working on a production line and in the warehouse picking and packing orders

- Product labelling

- Use of specialist Tea Packing machinery - IMA C24E , IMA C51 , Twinkle.

- Ensuring that all paperwork is completed as required

- Complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures

- End of day cleaning

Strong attention to detail

- Honest and reliable

- Has the ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Flexible attitude and prepared to work overtime when required during busy periods

- Values working within a small team of friendly people

- Willing to learn new skills,

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Warehouse: 2 years (required)
