Full Job Description

This is a is a newly created role which will focus on improving our inbound receipting and warehousing processes. R esponsibilities will include the smooth day-to-day unloading, reception, inspection, product data capture, issue resolution and putaway of all inbound products to the warehouse. In addition, this role will complete the collation and loading of export orders. It will support the Estate Logistics Goods In and Warehouse Supervisor with warehouse space management for new or discontinued products and work closely with the Inventory Controllers and Warehouse Administrator to optimise picking layout, storage efficiency and stock rotation for all stored stock. Support of weekly / monthly stock counts and receipting / picking in outside warehouses is included. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily goods in diary and ensure receipt paperwork is on hand

  • Unload inbound deliveries, conducting inspections that include HACCP compliance checks, product identification, and QC spot checks
  • Resolve receipt variances with Inventory Control and Product teams to minimise delays
  • Complete
  • putaway process and any associated system administration Rotate stock to ensure FIFO and Best Before date picking is prioritised Collate and load export / wholesale order Complete weekly / monthly stock counts with the Inventory Control team through dedicated counts or perpetual inventory spot checks Deliver warehouse hygiene standards to required levels, HACCP completion and relevant health and safety checks all completed and documented daily Work with the Inventory Control team to maintain an accurate

  • Proven track record in a warehouse or operations role
  • Strong FLT experience including Counterbalance, Bendi truck, PPT and Pallet Stacker
  • Warehouse IT systems experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proactive, with great interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with team and wider Estate
  • Full driving license, to include towing trailers
  • SAGE experience is preferable
  • Datalinx expereince is preferabl
  • Food Hygiene certificate and understanding of allergens is preferable

    The Estate Logistics department is an essential function for the estate, making deliveries across the whole Newt Estate from our base at Avalon Farm.
