Warehouse Manager

Pay Rate: £39,000 - £41,000 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday - Friday office hours Location: Hebburn, NE31 1SP DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements: WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Workload planning and volume forecasting
• Manage operation/department to budget
• Identify and implement productivity and Quality improvements
• Lead site succession/talent development for the site
• Act as the first point of contact for the customer relating to site PI matters and build a good relationship to develop trust and ensure strong engagement

• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
• Previous and practical experience as a warehouse manager within a busy logistics environment.

• Ability to develop colleagues and first line managers
