Are you an experienced and dynamic leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations and driving continuous improvement? Join our team as a Warehouse Operations Manager for Airfreight and play a key role in shaping the future of our logistics operations. We are seeking an individual who excels in leading teams, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.,

  • Manage Operational Teams: Oversee and guide the warehouse operational teams to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • People Management: Develop, support, and guide direct reports through performance reviews, coaching, and effective communication.
  • Optimize Warehouse Space: Develop solutions for maximizing warehouse space utilization and explore opportunities for ancillary revenue generation.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to the Strategic Department Business Plan and annual budget planning. Develop and implement operational and customer excellence strategies to meet growth and profitability targets.
  • Drive Financial Performance: Manage financial performance to meet and exceed departmental targets. Contribute to budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Manage Customer Relations: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure the development of SOPs that exceed expectations. Handle customer inquiries, problems, and complaints promptly.

    Previous experience of relevant freight forwarding with strong operational and warehouse management skills.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Familiarity with WMS systems and aviation security policies.
  • Proven leader capable of driving business improvements and change.
  • High levels of initiative, energy, and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Six Sigma.
  • Lean/5S agent.
