Warehouse Operative

Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and products
- Maintain inventory stock levels and ensure proper organisation
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
- Receiving limited cold store products and maintaining a tidy cold store environment

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and materials handling
- Forklift Truck license is essential

You will need to:
- Be organised, tidy, committed and demonstrate good time keeping
- Care abut detail and have high standards
- Have a willingness to 'muck in' when it's busy and stay calm under pressure
- Hard working, self-motivated and be able to work under direction
- The warehouse is cold in winter so please be prepared to wrap up

Salary: £10.42 per hour (rising to £11.44 per hour from 01/04/24), expected hours 37.5 hours per week (although we are happy to consider a part time position if the right candidate applies)
