Full Job Description

To ensure the safe loading and unloading of bagged/packaged stock as required by loading and unloading documentation. Accurate picking of bagged goods in line with customer orders and to maintain a hygienic and tidy warehouse.

As with all roles within Mars Horsecare there is Responsibility to keep focus on Safety and Quality of yourself, our products and those around you.,

  • Monitor physical quality of bagged/packaged items and stored in the approved manner, report/react to non-compliances as directed.

  • Operate within guidelines laid down by written and verbal instructions.

  • Maintain effective communication with Shift Manager and warehouse Lead Op, all operations staff, weighbridge operator and CSD team.

  • Monitor delivery/collection vehicles and personnel as regards company requirements.

  • Ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with legislative and management requirements.

  • Ensure correct stock rotation and stock control at all times.

  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping at all times in the warehouse and loading lane.

  • Be an active participant in all relevant parts of the factory FMOS/LMOS process.

  • To willingly partake in any training as directed by management.

  • To understand the full implications of product Quality and Health and Safety responsibilities.

  • Any other duties deemed necessary in order for you to carry out your role effectively.

  • Racking Control-ensuring any damaged racking is reported.

  • Fleet Management-with new electric trucks in transition, ensuring quality checks to the highest standard.

  • Warehouse Hygiene - Keeping the warehouse and surrounding areas clean at all times.
