We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the existing fulfilment team at a time of change and continued development. The successful jobholder will be self-driven, and results orientated. In addition, they will need a logical approach to all matters and possess strong communication skills.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the key objectives will be to focus on quality, efficiency, stock integrity and continuous improvements., · Achieving picking deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy

· Reworking of products

· Wrapping and packing to exacting standards

· Optimised precise loading of carrier trailers

· Championing stock integrity

· Carry out regular inventory counting / targeted perpetual inventory counts

· Ensure quality control standards are maintained

· Ensure all Internal Service Level Agreements are achieved

· Supporting housekeeping standards throughout

· Other duties and projects as directed by the Fulfilment Team Leader and support where necessary other teams with varying responsibilities

Qualities this position will require

· Good understanding of the warehouse operation and quality processes (minimum of 1 year warehouse experience desired)

· The ability to problem solve and to demonstrate a logical approach to tasks

· A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business

· Good organisational skills and the ability to constantly prioritise work

· Excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills

  • 8 hour shift, typically 09:00 to 18:00 with 2 x 30 min breaks

  • Monday to Friday

  • 21 days holiday a year of which 3 or 4 must be taken for Christmas shutdown
