Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for ensuring that movement and handling of customers goods on a daily basis.

Job Purpose:

• To carry out warehouse duties within timeframes stated by company.


• To carry out all special instructions as noted on receipt of goods or instructions from customer services.


• To ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements.


• To provide a professional and effective service to the customer.


• Complying with local legislative requirements & company Policies and procedures.


• To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.


• Requirement to undertake screening responsibilities for selected candidates.


• Loading and unloading trucks and sea containers.


• Scanning of freight into and out of the warehouse.


Person Specification:

• FLT Counter balance / reach truck licence (desirable, training can be provided)


• ADR / Hazardous awareness (desirable, training can be provided)


• Good timekeeping


• To be fit and healthy


• Warehouse Experience



• CRB Requirement


• 5 Year work history


• NXCT qualification training given if necessary for selected candidates
