Full Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of a small team who have the responsibility to supply all material in support for onsite operational requirements

Day-to-day, you'll work within the site warehouse environment and undertake the receipt, storage and issuing functions of the logistics supply-chain in support of material requirements.

  • Supplier deliveries within goods- inward department and transaction through inbound receipting process

  • Action outbound picking activity in response to Babcock customer demands

  • Complete regular housekeeping

  • Recommend, propose and adopt innovation and change in relation to operational tasks

  • Responsible for personal health and safety and of others operating in and around work area


  • This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

    This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Warminster

  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel)

  • Knowledge of warehousing and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems (desirable)

  • Knowledge of warehouse (SAP) system (desirable)

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accuracy
