Full Job Description

Two vacancies have arisen for individuals to join our Warehouse and Logistics team. Reporting directly to the Inventory & Raw Materials Supervisor this role will provide support in ensuring that the Raw Materials and Finished Goods operations within the Warehouse run smoothly and that SOPs are followed to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies whilst developing the operational warehouse team and participating in projects and stocktakes as required. Key responsibilities include;

  • To efficiently handle, store and rotate stock working within team and health and safety & regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure that stock is picked/ packed correctly via batch numbers, product code and quantity.
  • To ensure that goods inwards/out & stock management are processed in line with procedures and KPI requirements.
  • To highlight any issues /failures immediately to line management team.
  • To work as a team with all other departments to deliver the objectives of the business.
  • Maintain high standards of house-keeping and view all areas as a medical device warehouse
  • Ensure FLTs trucks are checked daily, recorded on the relevant scaff tags and defects reported to your line manager.
  • Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
  • Deal with impound vehicles following the correct company procedures
  • Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations, rotation and quality policies
  • Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and high light all errors/damages prior to completion
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety awareness in all areas in line with company polices/procedures. Report any concerns or non-conformance to the warehouse management team immediately.
  • Assist with inventory/order counting specifically EOY stock take and any other time business requires.
  • Support the Inventory and Raw Materials Supervisor or other member of the management team with all day-to-day tasks or any other reasonable duties.
  • To carry out 100% checks and rework as directed by management.

    The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a warehouse environment and being IT literate, it would be desirable to have knowledge of Sage 200. With an analytical approach to problem solving and a flexible attitude to working it would be advantageous if you also held a CBT and / or Flexi Truck license/ and ability to use HHPT.
