Full Job Description

1. Ensure stock is rotated and used in order of date expiry 2. Inspect materials prior to issuing to factory for damage or defect 3. Report or rectify any stock discrepancies when observed 4. Ensure all physical transactions are replicated on Stock Control computer system (ERP) 5. Ensure warehouse facilities are secure at all times 6. Comply with company 'clean as you go' policy specifically ensuring yards and loading bays are free from debris and food 7. Liaise with delivery drivers and the Public to maintain a harmonious working environment during busy delivery periods 8. Take care of your own Health & Safety and that of those who may be affected by your actions 9. Provide suggestions on ways of improving efficiency and reducing waste 10. Work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining the capability to function individually 11. Carry out daily inspections of FLT vehicles against supplied check sheet, report defects 12. Carry out any reasonable request in the most efficient way 13. Respect and value other members of staff to create a positive working environment

  • Counter-balance FLT license and experience
  • Previous experience in warehousing would be desirable
  • Good level of computer literacy. Use of Excel and ERP/WMS system
  • High level of numeracy will be required for all aspects of this role.
