Full Job Description
Your duties will include loading, unloading and labelling of home furnishings. This role requires physical manual handling tasks, items will vary in size and weight.
This role is based at an IKEA store where you will be working with another Breezemount colleague and IKEA staff.
Shift times are favourable, working 4 days from 7 with 10-hour shift on a rolling rota. Some days may be more than 10 hours, some could be slightly less. Shift patterns include weekends and bank holidays on a rota, with 1 weekend off in 3.
The Company will pay you a minimum of 40 hours per week. Starting and finishing times can vary due to factors outside of our control so there is an expectation that you will be prepared to work overtime in order to complete your allocated duties.
It is likely that you will work more than your contracted hours per week but you will be paid overtime for any additional hours you work. Overtime is paid at flat rate.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
- A basic understanding of English
- Physically capable as heavy lifting will be involved
- Attention to detail.
