Full Job Description

  • Goods Inwards: Receive and process incoming stock, including verifying quantities, checking for damage, and accurately recording items in the warehouse management system.

  • Storage and Organisation: Safely and efficiently store goods in designated locations using forklift trucks and manual handling techniques, ensuring optimal use of warehouse space.

  • Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders using hand-held scanners, ensuring correct packaging and labelling to minimise errors and returns.

  • Dispatch: Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records using the warehouse management system, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate any discrepancies.

  • Quality and Compliance: Adhere to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelines, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and follow health and safety regulations.

    Experience: You have experience in warehouse operations, including goods inwards, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Prior experience working in a regulated environment is advantageous.

  • Knowledge: You possess a good understanding of warehouse processes and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Familiarity with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelines is a plus.

  • Technical Proficiency: You are experienced in using hand-held scanners and electronic stock management systems. Holding valid Counterbalance and Bendi Forklift licences is beneficial.

  • Core Skills: You have excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures diligently. You are efficient in managing your time and meeting deadlines.

  • Teamwork: You are a team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals. You have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
