Warehouse Operative / Driver

· Loading and unloading delivery/client vehicles, by hand or with a forklift.

· Checking for damaged or missing items, arrange stock for storage in the warehouse.

· Taking goods to the appropriate storage space - perhaps using loading and lifting equipment for heavy goods, like larger flooring packs.

· Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system.

· Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored efficiently and labelled correctly.

· Picking orders from the storage space and bringing them for packing or to the loading bay for transportation.

· Packing and strapping pallets ready to go out for delivery/ collection to clients. You will also ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.

· Organising transfers and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.

· Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

· Following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.

· Work alongside your fellow staff to create a friendly and positive working environment, with a strong customer focus.

· Making local deliveries using company vehicles to clients, as required.

Required:

- Full UK Driving Licence (Prefeerable)

- Experience using a forklift (Desired not Required, training can be offered)
