Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across in our Northampton site (NN4 5FB).,

  • Step up as acting team Leader as and when required.

  • As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.

  • Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.

  • Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.

  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.

  • Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.

  • Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.

    Good understanding of both written and verbal English

  • Current or previous MHE licences such as T20, VNA & Reach truck

  • Previous warehouse experience

  • Supervisory experience beneficial

  • Awareness of manual handling techniques

  • Work within temperature controlled environment and pharmaceuticals is beneficial

  • Flexibility to work over times and to attend call outs where required

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • WMS - OPUS/Scale/PKMS

    This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 14:00 till 22:00 (subject to business requirements). The salary for this role is £24918.4 (subject to experience) Plus £800 Late Shift allowance and £1,400 Warehouse supplement W2 allowance per annum, 25 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays) and 5 days Volunteer Leave per year
