Full Job Description

The Menu Partners is a new business venture between two major food providers. We will act as both the food sourcing procurement and distribution partners to hotels, pubs, restaurants along with provision of hospitality, throughout the UK and beyond. This new partnership with several restaurant chains on board will be the preferred third-party logistics provider in the UK to facilitate all frozen, chilled and ambient food deliveries on our new fleet of vehicles. Job Function: The purpose of the Warehouse Operative's role is to ensure that the receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock is efficient and timely managed. You will ensure that the operation performs effectively and efficiently on a daily basis and complies with all Legal, Health and Safety, Hygiene regulations and Company Policies. You will be aiming to deliver a "best in class" facility for operational efficiency. As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. Principle Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
  • Following the company's quality standards and complying with food safety at all times.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, boxes and shelves.
  • Maintaining a stock rotation of all goods
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls.
  • Stock counting and location checks.
  • Warehouse porter duties including daily cleaning after use
  • Follow additional line manager reasonable requests as the business requires.

    Working hours - 15:30-23:30
