Warehouse Shift Manager

If youre ready to give your best shot, this is the role for you! Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for aWarehouse Shift Managerto join our team in Sherburn. Youll be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse operations, placing the highest regard on colleague wellbeing, health and safety whilst, meeting the operational KPIs. We are currently recruiting for multiple positions, working with some of the world's most renowned customers, including Asda, Sports Shoes, and TJX. We offer both full-time, permanent roles as well as 6-month Fixed-Term Contracts (FTC). We have various shift patterns available including Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:30, and 4 on 4 off, 06:00 18:00 /, and 06-00 -14:00 / 14:00-22:00 any 5 days from 7. This will be discussed during the interview stage.,

• Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation
• Demonstrate and promote a customer-focused approach to all warehouse activity
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting on target expectations and achievements through standard reporting processes
• Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all to improve Employee Engagement
  
  Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
• Previous experience focusing on continuous improvement
• IOSH qualification or above
