As a Shift Manager in the Ambient Section, you ll play a critical role in leading and motivating our Team Managers and Warehouse Colleagues to ensure the right products are picked quickly and efficiently so our stores can be stocked and our customers happy.   • Team Leadership: Oversee shift activities and manage your team s performance, from scheduling rotas to meeting labour requirements.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the efficient use of resources, delivering on daily objectives with a focus on maximizing productivity.
  • Cost Control: Monitor operational resource spend to maintain budget targets while achieving operational goals.
  • Problem Solving & Coaching: Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to your teams, ensuring they have the support to overcome challenges quickly and efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, performance, and productivity.
  • Team Development: Focus on the development and performance of your Team Managers, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed for success.

    Proven experience in managing teams in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive mind set with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience managing budgets and operational spend
