Warehouse & Site Maintenance Operative

· Comply with all Health & Safety requirements at all times.

· All warehouse duties related to processing and handling of incoming, dispatching and storage of goods.

· Book customer deliveries through online systems and telephone contact.

· Using the computer system (Navision) to print off and complete orders up to and including dispatch.

· Maintaining a secure, clean & tidy warehouse and site (inside & outside).

· Oversee quality control of incoming and outgoing deliveries.

· Support the accurate control of Inventory and stock rotation.

· Support the annual stocktake.

· Support the Site Manager with ad hoc requirements from minor DIY, to managing the fire alarm testing.

· Provide cover for Site Manager in times of absence.

· To act as a Key Holder in the absence of the Site Manager.

· Competent in performing manual warehouse tasks (loading/unloading/picking/putaway/quality control/packing, etc).

· Ability to work & communicate effectively as part of a team.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in work procedures.

· Good attention to detail & record keeping.

· Lift licenses - Essential: flexi forklift, & counterbalance, Desirable: reach & scissor.

· Experience of using other warehouse equipment.

· Experience of working with handheld scanners & a computer-based warehouse management system.

· Experience of working with numbers to support stock picking and control.

· Experience in undertaking minor DIY activities such as repairs, painting, etc.

Desirable

· Experience of working with Navision.

· Experience in food production & hygiene.

· Experience in site maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift


• Monday to Friday
