Warehouse Supervisor

c 26,000 plus benefits

Monday to Friday 9.00am-5:30pm

Commutable from Batley, Dewsbury, Morley, Wakefield and Brighouse

Excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company as a Warehouse Supervisor to manage goods in activity and stock control. The role will be based in Batley.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical and regular audits and inspections with the Warehouse Manager to assess the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and identify opportunities for improvement

  • To manage goods in and book incoming deliveries

  • Supporting the Warehouse Manager with Inventory Management, Monthly stock reports for Finance, Delivery Notes, Stock Tracking, Transport Planning / Booking, Goods In records etc.

  • Perform data entry tasks, and prepare reports

  • Perform daily check of goods received to organise stock intake and track where goods are stored.

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with loading of vehicles when necessary

  • Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager when necessary to ensure the warehouse remains fully operational (holiday cover etc)

  • IT Literate able to use Windows and other computer packages

  • Background in warehousing, ideally with knowledge of goods in and stock control

  • Must have a forklift licence

  • Self-motivated and a team player
