PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
• Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
• Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work
• Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations
• Staff training and inductions
• Meeting and exceeding operational targets
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• Current three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates
• Previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
• IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
• Have a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
• Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role
