Full Job Description
- Colleague Networks - internal groups where colleagues and their allies can share their own experiences, offer feedback on the way we do things at Greggs, and provide support to one another, Our Warehouse Supervisors are responsible for managing the Warehouse teams on shift and making sure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently 24/7. You'll make sure that all warehouse tasks are completed to the highest of standards in line with legal requirements. What you'll do You'll assist the Warehouse Manager with the operational plans for current production and warehouse requirements as well as future growth. You'll support on all thing\'s rota, ingredient, product picking, despatch and delivery related. You'll make sure your team are motivated, engaged and fully trained to meet their objectives and targets and ensure our loyal end customers leave our shops happy. You'll create an environment of continuous improvement to make sure we remain competitive, with plenty of opportunities to directly influence the success of the operation on site.
- You're a leader who has experience in managing teams, building team capability, and motivating your people to bring their best every day. You're experienced and know what you're talking about when it comes to FMCG daily fresh operation & multi-temperature environments
- You know how to operate business management systems to support you to assess, drive and guarantee team and business results are achieved
- You know what you're talking about when it comes to using Microsoft IT packages and you've had exposure to SAP systems
- You can demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of Food Hygiene (ideally, you'll hold a level 2 Food Hygiene qualification)
- You are supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good
