Full Job Description

The Warehouse System Coordinator is a role designed to operate the warehouse automated system to high level of system availability, to support safe, timely and reliable assembly of customer outbound loads. In 2021, we opened automated warehouse on site to drive safety, reliability and efficiency in our Logistics processes. A day in the life As a WH System Coordinator, you will work as a member of the logistics team to achieve goals and performance targets by safely and effectively operating automated system, processes, and warehouse management/control systems. You will provide expert knowledge of the systems to the shifts, coach and develop the shifts on working with the automated systems and drive continuous improvement with the shifts and engineering in terms of the systems performance. Key day to day activities:

  • Proactively promoting positive behaviours around individual and safety of others by leading by example, challenging unsafe actions, and praising good safety standards and behaviours.
  • Operate Systore (e.g. re-allocate orders, re-book pallets, disable enable cells blocks etc) to ensure pallets are assembled fully within time frame.
  • Monitor performance of the automation, e.g. availability, pals/hr throughput, storage saturation. Trend and analyse the data and provide reports/pareto for DOR/WOR/MOR to drive continuous improvement action plan.
  • Perform first step diagnostics for issues related to messaging, servers and network and identifying whom to escalate to (e.g. site engineering, MIT, SL Help Desk).
  • Operate the automation to resolve non-technical faults i.e. conveyor errors, AGV errors and analyse performance with engineering.
  • Liaise closely with LPE on automation performance and priorities of inbound/outbound activities to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Support the shift in escalation of pallet related issues to Production for resolution.
  • Ensure delivery of the de-topping plan, train, coach and develop shifts on de-topping and surrounding processes and TECO de-topping process orders.
  • The role is in the centre of the operations with real stakeholder presence, covering 4 on 4 off days and nights operation on shift rota basis.     Shift: Shift based, 4 on 4 off - 42.59 hours a week
