Full Job Description
- Oversee the effective running of the shift to ensure products are safely handled through all inbound and outbound processes, adhering to all company procedures to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all goods are handled correctly to minimize damage and follow manual handling techniques to prevent injury and harm.
- Responsible for the smooth running of your designated shift, ensuring staff are briefed and managed following SOP's and WI's.
- Oversee employee relations procedures such as holiday authorisations to ensure a sufficient number of employees are available as required to meet operational demands, raising in a timely manner where additional staff is needed either on a temporary or permanent basis.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse, including supporting other teams and shifts as necessary.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out following procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensure that all MHE is used appropriately, identifying and arranging relevant training to ensure there are sufficient trained employees to meet business demands.
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR etc, supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.
- Ensure that all business communications are effectively managed and shared with the team.
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our great team in Wellingborough (NN8 6BS)., Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-moving operation. - Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to drive the expected level of performance and motivate the team
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.

- Literate and numerate
- Ability to make decisions quickly
- Good knowledge of OPUS and AS/400 Computer Systems.
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.

The position holder will support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across the Wellingborough site. - Up to 25 days of holiday (excluding bank holidays) and 5 days of Volunteer Leave per year

The salary is up to £29690 per annum.,
