Full Job Description

The position holder will support and assist the Shift Manager/Operations Manager by running a warehouse department while ensuring company and customer quality standards are achieved. The position holder will also maintain good staff relations and Health and Safety standards. This is an operational hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be required to fulfil normal warehouse operational duties as a large part of this role.,

  • Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health and Safety at work and other relevant legislation. Understand company Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of work and assist in ensuring staff comply with them.

  • Supervise staff following Yusen Policies and Procedures, for example - quality, accuracy, punctuality, and work rate. Completing probationary reviews, PDR, and staff counselling.

  • Communicate effectively with Yusen staff at all levels of the contract and other departments

  • Communicate professionally with Casio UK. Briefing staff.

  • Complete daily, weekly, and Monthly reports accurately as required.

  • Assist the contract team in hitting all monthly KPIs.

    We seek a highly motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our fantastic team in Milton Keynes, Tilbrook (MK7 8BN)., Proven and demonstrable experience in leading or managing a team

  • Self-motivated and able to work on their initiative

  • Ability to drive the expected level of performance and motivate the team

  • Awareness of KAIZEN principles

  • Problem solving & Investigative skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills

  • PC literate with intermediate knowledge of Excel and user knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows, and Outlook

  • Ability to make decisions quickly

  • Good knowledge of WMi AS400, OPUS or comparable WMS

  • MHE licences are advantageous

  • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.

    You will be expected to work in a set rotational shift pattern, four weeks of 0800-1700 and 1 week of 0600-1500


  • We offer a salary of £33,190.87 per annum and £2,000 Team Warehouse Supplement per annum.,
