Full Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader at our Diageo site in Runcorn. You'll be reporting to the Operations Controller where your primary responsibility will be for running the small pack warehouse ensuring that the small pack production lines run efficiently. You will be required to cover the Operations Shift Controller during periods of holiday or absence. You'll be working the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 on a shift pattern of 2 days & 2 nights 5 off, 2 days & 3 nights 4 off, 3 days & 2 nights 5 off, on repeat.,

  • Responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives to ensure that the production lines continue to run and outbound orders are loaded out in line with the plan
  • Ensure all customer and GXO H&S requirements are met on a daily basis and all SSOW are followed
  • Ensure compliance of the operation to the Quality systems, industry standards and legal requirements
  • Managing stock integrity, productivity, and facilities within the OSL operation to minimise liability to GXO
  • Ensure efficient planning, reviewing and communication of operational requirements and changes including management and review of the Diageo production plans
  • Building a strong and positive team relationship and mentality with your direct team and the wider GXO team on site
