Warehouse Team Leader

To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking Warehouse Team Leader to supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse & stock team, as well as working with leadership to make sure our company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met., In this role you will:

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organisation of stock and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan Daily Diary schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and motion records
• Morning Team briefs to communicate to staff the allocation of work, Diary Schedule, H&S info and any daily topics.
• Daily Checks of WMS to check for discrepancies and/or missing stock.
• Ensure Housekeeping and the Checklists are updated daily
• Ensure effective communications to staff from office to bay.
• Ensure accidents are investigated according to the company's accident investigation procedures
• Assist with resolving employee concerns and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organisation
• Staff appraisals twice yearly.
• Align with present Team Leader in all Warehouse and Office Functions.
• Role will be a hands on role involved in the daily warehouse processes.
  
  Someone who has previous experience within a similar warehouse management or supervisory position
• A person who has worked with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English

Shift Pattern available: 4 on 4 off Nights 18:00 to 06:00 (40.25 hours per week) with 30 minutes unpaid break. Rate: £14.47 per hour paid weekly plus and additional £53 per week shift allowance.,
