Warehouse Team Leader

We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader at our Kerry site in Ossett, close to Leeds, West Yorkshire., As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will manage and support your team to achieve operational goals. You will ensure a smooth running of the warehouse and cooperation between warehouse and other functions on the site.,

• Managing and training a well skilled and balanced team of 7 operatives.
• Ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Performing GMP walks daily to ensure that standards are met.
• Looking for improvements and challenging the team to be operating at the same standard.
• Co-ordinating the information flow from production to internal and external teams.
• Responding and escalating any issues while also looking for ways to mitigate the potential disruption to the business.
• Ensuring self and team are working in accordance with the Health and Safety regulations.
  
  Experience in managing teams.
• Able to mitigate difficult situations and utilise team to full potential.
• Experience in warehouse and food manufacturing environment.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to build meaningful relationships and work in a team.
• Competent with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
• Ability to cooperate for different functions on the site.
