Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to support our Rotating Day Shift at Stafford. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, Rotating Days 06:00 -14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 How will you contribute?

  • Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift
  • Support colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
  • Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts
  • Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations
  • Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource
  • Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
  • Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments
  • Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours
  • Display a 'can do' attitude to enhance motivation of team
  • Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity
  • Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all internal / external KPI's are achieved and regularly reviewed

    Excellent organisational/time management skills
  • People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
  • Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Team Development
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word
