  • + Main working days: Monday to Friday (subject to customer demand) + Shift hours: 6pm to 2am (Job and Finish available) + Skill supplement payments available for First Aid, Fire Marshall etc., We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Manager to support the efficient and effective operations of our Warehouse Depot reporting to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will play an integral role in overseeing the evening activities of the warehouse from managing the pickers to dealing with warehouse/customer issues. What you'll do: + Assist the Depot Management team in managing and overseeing the evening operations of the warehouse. + Support the development and implementation of strategies to optimise productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. + Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing necessary changes. + Collaborate with the Depot Management team to utilise flow management techniques and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders + Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity. + Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. + Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in warehouse operations. + Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.

    + Previous experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced FMCG environment is preferred. + Knowledge and experience in flow management techniques. + Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team as well as monitor performance and nurture staff. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software. + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
