Full Job Description

  • Provision of technical support to client projects delivered within the Waste organisation
  • To contribute to the development of creative solutions to challenging waste problems
  • To support collaborative approach to working with customers and suppliers, seeking win- win solutions
  • To support peers within the waste business unit with internal development work as required.
  • To comply with all procedures, policies and security safety standards as required
  • Development of Waste Strategy
  • Development of Integrated Waste
  • Delivery of Optioneering & Feasibility Studies
  • Knowledge of BAT/BPM Assessments
  • Knowledge of ALARP Assessments
  • Delivery of Waste Technical Studies
  • Development of Radioactive Waste Management Cases
  • Development of characterisation strategies and application of systematic planning methodology
  • Technical delivery of radiological and chemical sampling analysis (incl. DQO and sampling plans)

    Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science subject OR demonstrated equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
    • Desirable: strong preference for experience to be within the nuclear sector , degree in a STEM-related subject Due to the nature of our business, we need all candidates to ideally be Security Cleared (SC) or have no issue in obtaining SC. A prerequisite for SC is that the applicant has lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years.
