Full Job Description

Waste Operatives

Industry: Waste collection and recycling

Location: Newport (outskirts), Isle of Wight

Hours: 9.45am -6.15pm

Days: 4 on 4 off rota, Monday - Sunday

Duration: Temporary, ongoing, immediate start.

Duties:

Assisting the public with household waste recycling,
Customer services and enquiries,
Manual handling and loading recyclable items into correct bins,
Banksman duties,
Adherence health & safety regulations.

Experience:

Must be prepared to work outside in all weathers and be on your feet for long periods,
Must be physically capable of undertaking required duties.

Must have good customer service and communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

Own transport is recommended due to company location.

Salary: £12.00 per hour worked
