Full Job Description

Waste Operatives/ Loaders

Industry: Waste collection and recycling

Location: Newport (outskirts), Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week (worked between 6.30am until approx. 3pm)

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Temporary, ongoing, immediate start.

Duties:

Collection of household waste and recycling,
Loading of refuse vehicle,
Banksman duties,
Adherence to planned routes/ schedules and health & safety regulations.

Experience:

Must be prepared to work outside in all weathers and be on your feet for long periods, walking distances of up to 10 miles per day,
Must be physically capable of undertaking required duties.

Must have good customer service and communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.

Own transport is recommended due to company location.

Salary: £12.00 per hour worked
