Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Waste and Recycling Operative to carry out cleaning, recycling and waste duties both internally and externally at our halls of residence sites.

The role involves emptying, collecting, transporting and sorting of general waste and recyclable materials to agreed time scales and the use of external cleaning equipment such as a jet washer and Leaf blower. Driving is required to move waste and recycling to bin compounds and subsequently the successful candidate must hold a valid driving license.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of £22,526, Operational & Community 1A.

Four weeks annual leave (plus 6 University days), Contributory Pension Scheme, supplied uniforms and a structured training scheme.
