Role Requirements

Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the Water & Hydro Pool Technician will perform essential duties to ensure compliance of our systems. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing potable water systems and equipment such as pipes, pumps, valves, and tanks, as well as hydro pool plant. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service alignment with HSG274, ACOP L8, IPC, legislative requirements, and standards. The role will also help support requirements and audits set out by CQC and Ofsted.

The role will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring their delivery and completion, including any necessary remedial actions. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating site water management reports and presenting them to both your line manager and our in-house Water Safety Group. You will also meticulously manage all water records onsite, maintaining compliance with relevant systems such as logbooks and eLogbook's. The role is also responsible for managing the appointed water laboratory for testing of water samples.

Other duties include conducting Legionella water sampling, Temperature checking, descaling of shower heads, TMV servicing, reviewing and managing Water RAMS for works carried out by contractors, as well as performing water treatment tasks such as tank cleaning, pH testing, water temperature testing, chlorination, and chemical dosing., Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter.
